You should also be sure you drink plenty of water in order to not only stay hydrated but to also promote healthy skin, cleanse your digestive system, give you more energy, and to help with weight control.  When you drink plenty of water every day you will be more likely to eat less because you will feel fuller and not think that you need anything to eat.  Water is extremely important to the body and the old recommendation of eight glasses a day is not very accurate as every person.  A better calculation would be to drink half of your body weight in ounces per day.  So if you weighed 140 pounds you should be drinking 70 ounces of water per day.

Tips For Healthy Living – Exercise

Some other tips for healthy living include making sure you get plenty of exercise as well.  The lazier you become without getting any regular exercise, the worse your body will get.  You will lose muscle strength and energy.  By implementing a simple daily exercise routine you will be able to increase muscle strength, energy levels and maintain a healthy weight.

Nutrition and exercise should be done in combination with each other.  Although you can do each separately it is impossible to outwork a bad eating habit.  And even if you are eating right, the regular physical activity will allow you to help maintain your weight and will prevent any decrease in muscle strength.
